I am so sorry to hear this. I KNOW first hand how very hard that is to do. It is heartwrenching to l;ose one of our babies that we have loved for so long. My prayers are with you.

Putting a loved and faithful friend to sleep was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. But, I had the option of putting him to sleep or allowing him to suffer. I think it's wonderful that we have the option to do this and end their misery and allow them to pass by just going off to sleep. Sometimes I wish we could be that understanding with humans when they no long want to live because of their pain or disabilities (sorry I realize this may not be everyone's opinion but it's mine).

I am so sorry. My heart is breaking right along with yours, but you did the right thing. Rambo will never have to suffer the pain that cancer brings. He was loved and spoiled for 13 years and he will always love you for that. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. Hugs to all.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I was there just a little less then two weeks ago with my little puppy. It was one of the hardest things that I have ever had to do. With time comes peace. It will come. Until then cry your little heart out. It is good for you. I did.

Aw Tricia, I am sending you hugs for what you have been through today. I would have done exactly as you did Hon, gone back for one final cuddle. Just concentrate on the wonderful memories you have with your precious little guy, and remember you prevented him from enduring so much pain.
