I feel so bad for you. The only thing I can think of to say is to remember
your beloved pet will be free of pain. I kept thinking that as I put down
my three over the years. They bring such joy and love into our lives
it's so hard to let go I know. Somehow be strong and just hold your pet
to you and it will be over in seconds. There is nothing to say to relieve the pain you feel but remember all the wonderful memories you had together
and know that your pet will be free to play and be whole again at
Rainbow bridge.

I am sorry for your loss today ... I know it must be a difficult time for you and the other dogs. I love my babies so much and my sister has ten maltese , we would be devestated at a time like this and would wish for others to understand and allow us time to grieve. My sincerest sympathy. What a beautiful poem. I too, have had to do this twice. They are two of the worst days of my life. I still cry when I think of both of them. Both my Fritter and my Rocky did live long, beautiful lives and we loved each other until the end. I held them both until it was over. I still cry when I think of them, but I know I'll see them again some day!! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I know too well the pain you will endure during this time. Even when you think you are prepared, you can't be. Just keep thinking about the happy times and that you are freeing your baby of pain and in your heart you know you are doing whats best.
That poem is beautiful and I ordered the same one for a scrapbook when my Lexxi left us. It was personalized for her....I cry everytime I read it.

Hugs and kisses from Mandy, Tina and little Kayla. We know how well the pain you are feeling. I was getting ready the day after Mother's Day to go pick Max up. He had been on Iv's the whole week-end. (diabetes) When the call came he was not doing good. That had to be the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life. They are my babies and here I was losing one and could do nothing about it. You cry and mourn as long as it takes. I cried driving down the street, in resturants, on the phone with friends. My husband was afraid for Max's name to even be mentioned. It takes time and no matter what anyone says, no words or sympathies help heal. Time and more time is the answer. Then, one day you will find remembering and laughing over things in the past and all the good times. They have a special place in our hearts that only they can feel. I had cards made with a poem and Max's picture on the front with the rainbow bridge in the background. Sent to friends and even starting a scrap book with pictures helps. I am sooooo sorry for your loss. Hang in there and time does help.

I am so sorry for you and your family.

I had to put my old dog down last April, and that's the hardest thing I've ever done. I've never cried so much in my life, and I still cry sometimes when I think of him.
