crying my eyes out !!!!!
 
i have to put my oldest yorkie to sleep in the morning and i have never had to do this before...need some suppot fellow yorkie talkers!!!

Oh Hon, I so feel for you. I know only too well what you are feeling right now. I wish I could be there to wrap my arms around you tomorrow. I have this beautiful poem that I saved; a YT member posted it a few months ago. I know the words will help you:


FROM FRIEND TO FRIEND

You're giving me a special gift,
So sorrowfully endowed,
And through these last few cherished days,

But really, love is knowing
When your best friend is in pain,
And understanding earthly acts

I'm sooo sorry! Please know that my thoughts will be with you and I will be praying for you. I'm sure you have lots of wonderful memories...please cling to them....

Thank you that was too sweet...i think this is one of the hardest things to do and i have 8 yorkies.

I am so sorry for you. I have had to make this hard decision 4 times and I knew each time that it was time and I didn't want my babies to suffer. I will be thinking of you and pray that you will have strength. Please think of the happy times you have had with your precious angel and know you are doing the right thing.

Abigail and I are so very sorry for the loss of this beloved friend. I, too, have had to make this hard decision three times. It's the hard part of loving our pets, who give us unconditional love, trust, and companionship their whole lives.

I am so sorry for you. I recently had to put both my pug and cat down (two weeks a part) and it was so hard but I knew that they would no longer be suffering and that gave me some peace.

Many thoughts and prayers coming your way. For you and your family. YT sure does have many many caring people out there. I know when I needed strength they helped me also. i havent had to make that decision yet but everyone tell me you know when its best to do it. you did whats best and lacey lilly lexie lucy lola and i are all thinking of you and passing happy thoughts your way:)

Sorry to hear about you loss. Having a senior Yorkie, I dread the day it happens when he passes. How old was you dog, if you don't mind me asking?

I had to do that one time, i\'m crying with you. My first dog we put down after 16 1/2 years. I got him on my first day of second grade...and we put him down 2 months after I graduated college. I couldn\'t see it then, but afterwards I realized it truly was the best, I have never cried so hard in my life but that was a testimony to the joy and love he brought me, and I know that he\'ll always be my angel. The problem is, we just don\'t know their pain. I will be praying for you and your family and your baby that all goes well!

I\'ve had to go through this twice in my lifetime. I wish I would have had that poem...it\'s so comforting. Prayers being said for you and your baby.
