| I love Cesar MIllan I am a fan of Cesar Millan and mark my calendar to make sure I don't miss his show. Though some of his tactics may seem rough to fix many common problems, the cases he works with are almost beyond the point of being fixed. When I watch the show sometimes I think he may have saved an animal from being put down. I personally believe that positive reward training is best. I love my animals so much that if trying his method meant me keeping my dog instead having it taken from me because of its aggression and euthanized, I think I would try anything. As for the CA bill. I couldn't understand why anybody wouldn't want a mandatory spay or nuter law, until I went to a dog show and heard first hand from the professionals what the results would be. I have done more research on my own and disagree with it now. I had no idea that the bill would make someone who only keeps a small reputable breeding stock that breeds for the love of the breed and doesn't make enough in sales to even equal more than the license fee would be forced to spay or nueter. But a puppymill because they are a large $$ moneymaking business and could easily afford the license would be left as the only source of dog breeders. I had no clue!!

| cesar milan is really a Dog Whisperer!! it seems like he can speak/whisper to dogs its like they feel his calm energy and cesar becomes the pack leader instantly. i wish i had his whispering power i do believe his tactic wont be good on all sized dogs. if its under 5-7 pds, i dont think its really a good idea to do what he does (tapping them in the neck). i think his tactic works great w/bigger dogs. i just cant seem to touch my furbabies in their neck area, it feels like im hurting them but the sound affect (shh), which i do use, works good... i just dont tap them. i guess u really have to figure out what really works for u and ur furbabies i love his pack as well.. did ya'll know Daddy (pitt bull in his pack) was Redman (rapper) dog? i think Daddy looks very hansome. he is so calm and seem so sweet I LOVE HIS SHOWS u can learn alot from watching it. Have fun at the seminar and take alot of pics w/him..

| Lucky You! Lucky You!........Please post your experience afterwards? I watch every episode of the "Dog Whisperer" since season one, the new shows are better! I watched his DVD, because I didn't have enough patience to read his Books. I've been trying to get tickets to his Seminar but they have been SOLD OUT! I try to apply his techniques to my 3 Spoiled Brats! But luckily they don't have a problem with me being in the "Alpha" position? At least they let me beleive I am? I Love watching him, he's very Entertaining, compared to other Dog Trainers and Animal Behaviourist! Does anyone watch "It's Me or the Dog", it's filmed in England and it's on the Animal Planet channel? I guess that's England's version of their own Dog Whisperer? Wow.....I'm excited for you, let me know if your experience was worth the price of the Ticket?, Time & Effort? Have Fun, I wish it were me! |

| Did anyone see him last night? I don't know if it was his regular night or if I caught a rerun because I don't always get to watch but got lucky enough to catch him tonight. He did a terribly aggresive Yorkie and in minutes had her calmed down. I wish that poster from earlier this week wanting to send her snippy dog to the pound would have seen it. That's why I just don't see putting a dog down for things like that, they are just training issues. I love Victoria's bun...you are right it means bussiness! My girls had a figure skating coach who always wore her hair in a bun like that and she was always very serious about our lessons. Victoria remindes me of her!

| I looove that show. That's the Victoria Stillwell we were talking about before. I love her positive reinforcement methods. While I think Cesar Millan is better off training big dogs, her methods seem to work on all sizes. I use them on Abby and the results are amazing.

| So even though I may not agree with everything he says and does, I have to admit I use many of his techniques since Bella was a baby. Now she minds me. I can get to obey even when there are many distractions!! |

| My Experience with Cesar I still do not know him personally (per say) but this seminar was very enlightning. My hubby and I were able to obtain tickets that got us up in the third row and behind the scenes for autographs and pictures. It was a surreal experience. He is my first celebrity (worth admiring) that I have ever gotten to make eye contact with, the best part is that he is down to earth and knows he is blessed to be doing what he does for a living. He is hilarious!!!! For a time it felt like we were at a stand up show. When we got to meet him behind the scenes it was no surprise to see him sincerey smiling and happy to see us. I must say he is one of the most real "icons" out there today. Many pepole have different opinions on his "tactics" the funny thing is that these aren't his tactics. These are simply the same tactics one would witness when observing a pack of dogs, be it wild or domestic. I own a Yorkie (duh) but understand he is a dog first and formost. That does not belittle his existence at all!)Please read his new book- Be the Pack Leader- if you want to better understand his "tactics". Then make an assertive decision about him. Either way I loved his seminar, and his spirit. He is a very positive person that you can't help but smile while in his presence. Trust is a major factor with him. That and respect. If he were harming the dogs in anyway they wouldn't trust or respect him enough to submit. I am not a defender of Cesar, I feel he does not need it, plus I wouldn't do him justice. But if you want to learn about dogs (including Yorkies) it is worth the time and the money to hear what Cesar has got to say. * He only uses tools the owners are comfortable using (ones they use regularly) such as choke chains, e collars etc. These are not his idea. By the way He is adorrrrrable!!!!!!!!!

| I'm glad to hear you two had such a good experience there. Somehow I knew you would have nothing but good to say! I will have to get his book as I'm getting the feeling that I'm not learning enough just from watching from time to time. Thanks for sharing!

| I'm so glad you had a great experience. I always "liked" him, but I know that after reading his book, I felt I understood him a lot more. I'm sure you had the same experience in person!!
