i was really looking forward to meeting everyone,but the money i was to get to come fell throught so i hope i will have a job and be able to come to the next meet,im so sad,but i hope everyone will have a good time.

I'd be happy to pick you up on my way through. I'll be coming from Alpharetta and plan on taking 75 north and going right by Marietta.

At least the weather hasn't been as bad today in Chattanooga as predicted. Just rain and should end in the morning. Sorry to hear those unable to meet, but things to do come up for sure.

I just hope by 2:00 that the rain has all passed. I better go through in a couple of towels in case the dogs get really wet.

Thank you for posting for me. After we talked on the phone, things got a bit hetic here. I had to take Little Man to the vet. He went to the groomers yesterday and she plucked his ear hair out. Well it irritated his ears and they were red for awhile, well this morning they were beet red so I put in some ear powder for the irritation, and it seemed to work well by 3pm he started yelping and pawing at his ears so I looked and they had just started to bleed. I didn't even call the vet I just went. The vet said what caused them to bleed was he was pawing at them because they were irritated. And that he must have gotten his back paws on the inside of his ear and his nails is what actually caused the bleeding. She gave me an triple antibiotic ointment to put in his ears to help with the irritation. The ointment must be helping cause he hasn't pawed at his ears since she put the first dose in. She did tell me to use the ointment after every grooming session until it not irritated anymore.

I do hope you all have fun and take lots of pictures! Hopefully next time we'll be able to make it.

The rain should be out of here by the time we have our playdate! Although I can just about gaurantee our babies will be playing in some mud, but honestly do you think they are really going to care? lol

I've heard fabulous things about Labby Lane. I suggest most people who want me to keep their big dogs to go there for petsitting instead. My house can only hold so many! haha I didn't know they did grooming too. Luckily, I work at a fabulous groom shop so I don't have to pay to have my dogs done. lol Thankfully! With four yorkies, a golden-pit mix, and a sheltie-beagle mix I would be spending a fortune!

I guess we are still on for today then. I think I'll skip the baths so you'll just have to excuse my stinky babies. I'm sure they will need a bath when we get home if it's that sloppy out there and I don't want to have to give them a bath twice in one day.

Looks like Most are still coming....there are a couple of people on the list that havent been online since they signed up.....so i guess we will just have to see...still looks like we are gonna have fun......cant wait
