Oh man! Tessa will arrive a little too late for us to meet her. Maybe we can have another meetup in the summer. |
I hope I can make it to one of these meets, especially if it's a little later towards summer. I might actually even have my puppy by then! Chattvegas is a little far from some of us, I noticed, though. I'm in Memphis, Tn. Do I have any [relatively, of course :) ] close neighbors on here? |
i cant meet up any time before March 23rd |
Hey Everyone! Sorry I've been a no show around here lately. Lots going on! Assuming we still want to hold our meetup here in Chattanooga while the weather is cold, I'm going to look into the weekends I am free and see how those would work for everyone else. Again, that is assuming we still want to do it here and at my mother's boutique. I'll check my calender! |
i would still like to meet everyone....Chattanooga is great for me....just about 45 minutes away.....and my little guy gets car sick....so the closer the better for us.......as far as i know now we are available on the 1st weekend in March but not the 15th....as of now.....like everyone else im sure things change around here from minute to minute.....just let us know:animal36 :animal-pa |
I just found this thread..doesnt seem like the south has met up...so is the trip still on if so when? I'd like to go if hubby lets me  |
Have yall decided on a new date for the meetup? |
Any suggestions on a date? How about March 29 or April 5? |
It should be nice enough outside by then to have it at a dog park. Not that I don't want to meet at the boutique but having it in the evening is a little inconvenient for the out of towners (unless we spend the night). I'm 2 hours away so I would hate to have to pay for a hotel room. Maybe we could meet at a park mid afternoon and then those that wanted to hang out more could go to the boutique after it closes. Just a suggestion but I will probably come either way. Any Saturday will work for me as long as I know in advance. |
April 5 works for me....we have a prior committment on March 29th.....if it is warm enough a park sounds good....but i dont know if there is a dog park....i live just 30-40 minutes away outside of Cleveland TN.....so either one is good....i like the idea of an earlier meet......but if we have to have it at the boutique then after it closes is fine......anyway i hope to be able to meet up with every one......:animal36 :animal-pa ______________________ www.dogster.com/683315 |
Well let's all decide then if we want to do it outside or not. If we don't do it at the boutique there is no need for me to post the dates in which I am in town to host this thing. That way I can better plan as well as everyone else. |
Also be aware there are not a lot of pet friendly parks in Chattanooga. There is the dog park, but it mostly caters to big dogs and it's just a tiny fenced in area. Renaissance Park is the only one that is an open park that is dog friendly at the moment. That would really be the only option. It's just down the road from the Bone Appetit Bakery too, which is a plus! |

There are several really nice dog parks in the Atlanta area. Is Atlanta to far? I know it's not as centrally located. Thoughts anyone? Maybe we do need to use the boutique. |
