I gotta get to work and can't post from there. Try these sites for the latest info on the storm. Forget national sites, they're not as accurate when it comes to snow.

I heard about that. What does everyone think? Should we still plan on having this or not? I really don't know.

I'm definitely waiting to see what the weather is going to do before I decide whether we are coming or not. It's a 2 hour drive with good road conditions for me and I don't plan on staying overnight so if there is bad weather we won't come.

Is anyone planning on being in Chatanooga earlier that would like to meet up if the weather is not bad?

True .....True.....may need to consider post poning it till another weekend???...we got to keep everyone and all the little furbabies safe....from what the weather is say now...if i were in charge i would postpone.....post back and let me know:animal36 :animal-pa

Hey everyone! I'm glad you all keep a better eye on the weather than me! I didn't realize the weather warnings were so severe. The last I had checked it was just maybe a slight chance for a little snow, and that was like three days ago. I have no problem postponing if everyone feels safer doing that. I'll keep an eye on the weather throughout the evening and I would love for everyone else to do the same. I'm getting ready to head out for a dinner and movie night with some friends and I won't be back til probably midnight or so. I'll get back on then and see what everyone wanting to do. I'd always rather be safe than sorry, especially traveling with our furbabies. The people I really worry about traveling are the ones coming from the Nashville area. Those mountains are dangerous.

Why don't we go ahead and postpone? I would hate for us to postpone last minute and have someone not see the post about it.

sounds like a good idea to me to postpone......reschedule maybe in a couple of weeks...if the thing is as big as some are perdicting then it may not be gone in some places soon

I am going to go on ahead and make an executive decision to post-pone the meetup for tomorrow evening. I don't want to take a chance with this weather. It keeps changing from less possible snow to maybe quite a bit of bad weather and it's just not worth it to risk for here in town or for anyone traveling to come to this. I am so sorry if this messed with anyone's schedule for the weekend. My mom's store is always open to hold it so if we still want to do it in Chattanooga, we'll talk about what other weekend we want to do it. For now, I think it would just be safer to postpone for the sake of everyone's safety. Stay warm, stay home, and be safe in this weather! We'll plan for another time to get our furrbutts together for a playdate!

I hate that everyone is having to postpone, but since Porsche just had her puppies last Sunday, I wasn't going to be able to come. I live about an hour north of Nashville. I would love to meet everyone. Please keep us all posted for the new meetup date and time.:p

Well I hope everyone stayed safe if you got any bad weather! We ended up not having a thing here, but still better safe than sorry! Any ideas what next weekend would work for everyone?

i am glad this was postponed because the weather here in Ga was iffy depending on where you were...and now i may be able to come to the next meetup agreeded upon date!!!:D will be looking for updates!!

not sure when u all are thinking about but smokey and i wont be availabletill after the end of Feb.(sissy-(our daughter)) is cheerleading in playoffs so it will be at least the first weekend in March......we are not available the weekend of 15th...........still we would love to see everyone.....hope we can make it......:animal36 :animal-pa

What is a good day for everyone? If we want to meet in Feb, the 23rd is the best day for me. In March I can't meet either the 15th or 22nd.
