Any updates on the meet up in chattanooga?? Do we have a set date!!!???

Sorry. I haven't had a chance to check on the room they have in one of the parks. Work has taken over my life:eek: Things will hopefully settle down by Tuesday so I can call then. Did we decide that we will definitely meet at the park if that room is not available?

edited: The set date is Dec. 1 the last I heard. Has that changed?

That's the last I heard as well. I have no influence over how long PDX can stay open that Saturday so I don't know where we all decided to meet, or if it's happening at all. This thread hasn't been updated in awhile.

hi, i live in louisville, your not too far from me are you? i left my yorkie this summer for the 1st time and i got a family member to housesit and it worked out well. i called every day but felt comfortable knowing someone i knew was with him.

Well we were supposed to have it Dec. 1, but I don't know what in the world happened with it. So maybe we should plan for one after the new year. I think anything now, before the holidays, is just going to be way too hectic to get everyone together. I LIVE here in Chattanooga and doing anything before then is going to be about near impossible. haha

What does everyone's schedule look like?

I am still definately all over it! Maybe we should plan for sometime in January? And I got to thinking about it, but my mom owns a children's boutique on Frazier Ave and WHY this didn't come to mind the first time around is beyond me. I blame it on being sick and not having my mind with me. haha But I could ask her how she would feel about us holding it there after her store closes around 5 or 6 on a Saturday evening. That way everyone would have time to get in town, get settled, and get to see the area some. Oh yeah, if we hold it here in Chattanooga, you MUST make sure you go to Never No (another shop on Frazier Ave.) and meet Elvis. He is one of my FAVORITE clients at Groomingdale's where I work. lol He is the tiniest yorkie I have EVER met! But I'll talk to my mom about her boutique and see if we can work something out for that. I know the first time around we were all concerned with the weather and PDX wouldn't work because they are only open from 9am-12pm on Saturdays. I could bring a few x-pens and set them up in the middle of her store so our guys could have their play area and that we everyone stays warm and we can safely supervise out babies.

I'm glad u r feeling better. That sounds good, but if that doesn't work out then we could still try outside or maybe in the spring. I would be weary about dogs marking inside the boutique. Btw, thanks for looking into this and I'm sure we can organize something soon.

Well I have mentioned it to my mom and she is totally fine with it. lol We'd just move her display in the middle of the store over so that way if there was an accident, it's just in the x-pen and it's a finished wood floor so cleanup would be as easy as 123. She is curious as to how many babies would be there. Do we know who would be interested and how many furbabies would be there? I know a lot would depend on when we settle a date too.

That's so nice of your mom. Tell her we said thanks! I will be out of town the weekend of Jan. 5th but any other weekend is a definite yes for us. r yorkie wannabees welcome? if so my sisters pom might come too.

How about for u to ask ur mom what day is best for her. Then we could ask everyone if that day is good for them.
