| Cold Weather!!! I feel so bad because Koda seems to be getting cold to soon, Is this normal? Yesterday she spend the entired afternoon snuggled and at one point she was shivering a lot that I took a few blankets and wrapped her and place her in my chest for some warmth Please let me know your advice, What do you do in the winter time, When she first got home last year she was a baby and didn't experience this so soon....She was inside her cage most of the time maybe this is why I didn't noticed ?

| I am noticing that too! I make sure there are blankets everywhere for Vinnie and i just bought him a hoodie from drs. foster and smith to help keep him warm. I feel so guilty leaving him the past couple mornings because I do really worry, even though the heat is on and he has blankets that he'll be cold and he needs me to cuddle and warm him up!

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Izzy is the same as Koda - She started to shiver when the temps in the am were only in the high 40s...yikes..what is she going to do when it's in the teens around here soon? Well - we finally broke down and put our heat on for the first time this week to at least get the chill out out the house and that seemed to help a lot - she doesn't have a problem when she goes out now, but when it we start to get snow and wind - then she'll have to wear her sweater for sure. Keep the blankets around that's for sure. Oh - is Koda a cuddler? I know it's cold when Izzy plops herself in my lap and wants to snuggle to get warm.

| I think different yorkies react differently to the cold. Mine only shiver if it is really really cold outside. They never shiver inside and we keep our house cooler yr round. Mine are like me they dont like to be hot

| Lol. I am originally from Alabama so I know how that hot weather is. I absolutely LOVE the weather in Chicago. I can't wait for snow this year. I'm ready for the cold weather and so is Riley. |

| Gosh, I love fall! It is probably my favorite season. I just know we are going to go from summer weather to winter weather---with nothing in between! Our trees haven't even starting turning colors--which I love!
