Ants... Advice My mom me and cody went to my moms sisters for her birthday and today he got loose and we were able to get the gate closed and we just let him run it out. well when i picked him up he had ants all over him. i guess he was by a ant bed. so i was getting them off as fast as i could. when i got home i noticed he has two big bites. almost blister like. i put some hydrocortisone cream on it. is there anything else i can do? since i put the cream on he doesnt seem to itch it . like it's not bothering him. but it looks bad more than anything

If they have little blister like marks they could be fire ant bites. Are you sure there were only the two? Fire ant bites are awful. If there are only two, it shouldn't be so bad but if there are lots, I would call a vet. Lots of fire ant bites can be problematic and dangerous. How much does your baby weigh?

He should be fine. Fire ant bites make little pustules and they usually last for a few days and go away.

Those bites do hurt some. If they seem to be bothering him, put it on. I think they should pass very quickly. Don't worry.
