| Help Help Help!!!!!!!!!!! Lilly's Breath Stinks! It smells sooooooooooooooo bad..like this pungent fishy gross smell. I'm at the end of my rope. I was using the Poultry toothpaste but I went out today to buy mint toothpaste and doggie mints. THEY DIDN'T HELP!! Things that changed: She was getting wet food but she has been only eating her dry food lately, and I bought her a bully stick (I threw it away though) Any suggestions why my baby's breath smells soo bad?

| If she's somewhere between 4-7 months old, she has probably started teething. Most likely she still has baby teeth in her mouth as well as the adult teeth that are growing in. Food gets trapped between the teeth and man, does it STINK! If the baby teeth don't come out on their own, most people have them pulled when the puppy is spayed/neutered. I had to have Lacy's 4 baby canines pulled. Her breath was horrible until those things came out.

| By any chance is there built up tartar on her very back teeth? Are her gums red? I have a GS that had the worst breath ever. We brushed and brushed her teeth. I even have the actual dental instrument(came from the dentist office) that is used to scrap teeth. I did all of that and still her breath was gross. I have no idea if this would work for you, but I ordered the gel Petzlife from sassypup here on Yt and with in 3 days of using that stuff her bad breath disappeared. I did not change her diet, take any toys aways nothing. The only thing I did was give her that product. I had been putting up with her breath for 9 years!!!! You might give it try. I also use it on Annie cause I can not get to her back teeth, and it prevents plaque and tartar.

| She's 5 months I thought about that..her front teeth are coming in perfectly..the bottom and top rows have been falling out and coming in. But I'm curious do their back teeth fall out?? I don't think that Lilly's have. She's 3 pounds 11 oz when can i get her spayed and her teethe pulled (if needed)..cuz I feel bad but I just can't stand having her kissing my face...it smellsss sooooooooo bad! Is there anything I can do to mask the problem while I wait?

| You can have her spayed when she's 6 months old My maltese was only 2.9lbs when she was spayed at the age of 6 months, and everything went very smoothly
