| What do you give after a blood draw? Ellie just had her blood drawn a couple hours ago. She had her pre and post bile acids redone plus titers for parvo and distemper and a blood panel thing. That's a lot of blood. She is acting perfectly normal but should I be giving her something like sugar? I shared my apple with her and she didn't complain about that.

She'll be just fine, but heck, to make both of you feel better - just give her a little sumpthin sumpthin - yogurt or maybe some cereal treats? You are such a good momma!

| Thank You. Why am I awesome though? I mean, if you say so that is okay with me. Maybe some vanilla ice cream is an order. The sugar will be good for her.

| Poor Ellie! I hope she feels better and that all the blood tests come back better. When Kiwi gets a lot of blood work done or other tests, I give her baby food because she likes it and I feel better that she is eating something.

| LOL...I already put the ice cream away. Ellie agreed that she definately needed some to make sure her sugar doesn't drop. Ellie will eat just about anything. Actually she usually eats about 1/4 cup of food 4 times a day but I couldn't feed her today because of the bile acid test. They supposedly fed her breakfast but I guess they think Yorkies only need a tablespoon of food or something because she came home starving. It's been a long morning. Yes, I am a typical worried mama.
