Yeah definitely a harness! I bought one at Wal-Mart real reasonable. It is the cloth, or strap kind. It ia adjustable and I was amazed how small I could make it for when she was a small puppy. >Your puppy will get better at obeying you once she gets out of the puppy stage. Believe me, I thought I would be chasing her forever. If it is something that won't harm her, don't chase her for it. It becomes a game for them. Simply say in a stern voice :STAY" If she doesn't obey, turn your back on her and don't re-act. Praise her and praise her if she stops even for a minute! She will soon learn.

See that was my problem, her harness is still TOO BIG! She starts to chew on it and it gets stuck in her mouth, that is why we were using a collar until she grew a bit. But I'm afraid she really won't grow into her harness at all, she is 4 months now and it still doesn't fit.

Around what age do they stop growing?

I'm so thankful that they grow out of the puppy stage! BTW, Luna was so much better with my neighbor's baby yesterday. See what I am doing now is, someone said it here I really can't recall who it was right this moment, but I take treats and one of her toys so that instead of only petting Luna they can play, thus interact and hopefully create a bond/trust. I think the baby liked the toy more than Luna, lol, but at least Luna loved the treats! Hehehe!!

Alrighty, thank you everyone! I will see about that harness, I knew that that would be the best thing but the whole chewing on it and getting stuck in her mouth really frightens me, I just gotta run a little if she is pulling too hard so as to not choke her ... ahh I feel like such a bad mother saying that.. .

My harness can go really small. My puppy was only 1#9oz when I got mine and I could get it down that small. She weighs around 3# now, and it still fits her. I got it at Wal-Mart and I love it! Good Luck! Pat

HI...I have not been on for awhile with work and christmas coming. I was just reading the posts and I am glad to see that I am not the only one who has the problem with taking things they should not have in there mouth and running.
Tish does that to me all the time. She waits for me to drop something and off she goes. I still chase her or bribe her with a treat but I know that is wrong because she is getting a reward for something she shouldn't do. I need to work on that! Once she had a sewing needle and I really freaked out. I have no idea how she got a hold of it.
As for a harness the buddybelt is the best to get. You can order on the net.

The harness I bought is light weight and musch cheaper. It was around $5. I believe. I love mine. I have to keep things light because she doesn't weight much. Pat
