| NO NO NO....to rawhide and greenies.....last Jan (I think) Mojo was on IV for seven days due to blockage of some sort in his poor tummy (intestines). I had to bring in all of his foods and treats. He had greenies and Dingo bones (rawhide) that he loved. The vet was very stern had said NO to these. The greenies, if you cut a small piece off, like what one of our furbabies would bite off, and place it in some water, it triples in size...it doesn't dissolve!!! YUCK!! So, from that horrible experience...we were lucky that the IV fluids and pain meds worked, or else, we were talking about serious surgery! We love Pixie Stix and Merricks - regarding bully sticks! Merricks can be found online and Pixie Stix are through Beyond Spoiled (Kathyrn_V) on here. Mojo can only have the natural because the darker ones (with the flavoring, smokey stuff) upsets his tummy and I think they smell too! COURSE, everyone has their own opinions...I am just talking about my own personal experiences.

| Greenies are very, very dangerous for dogs. They, IMO, should be removed from stores. Several dogs have died chewing on them. Rawhide is dangerous also. Find a natural bone for your pup to chew. For a chewer ,most of what is on the market today is dangerous for your dog. Don't believe what's on the packaging. READ THE FINE PRINT. |

| You can get bully sticks at Petsmart and Petco- just have to look hard. I get a brand called Red Barn?? I think... Tobey LOVES them!! They aren't super cheap but worth the money because one will last a really long time. I usually give it to him for about 30 minutes at a time and then put it up cuz the end gets all gummy..and kinda gross looking..but it gets hard again. He has never loved any other chew so much

| My mom use to give her Yorkie greenies and she would chew off a piece that was to big and it would get caught in her throat. It was very scary. They aren't very good treats for numerous reasons.

| Vet Recommends Carrots The vet suggested carrots. Johnny loves them-the little minie one. They seem to help with the teething. The vet also rewarded Johnny with a rawhide chew so I figured they were OK. |

| I never knew greenies were so bad. My dogs are a little over 3 yrs and have been getting these since they were little. I have never had any problems. I have been looking for something different for them, but they are so picky.
