| I learn so much from you.... Just had to write to tell you all about my experience with the bully stix. I have to admit that when you would talk about them here I had no idea what you were talking about but was too embarrassed to ask...lol. Anyway, after reading several post I finally found out. I figured I would have to try one for Delilah as she showed no interest in the run of the mill rawhides I wanted her to chew on to help shed her baby teeth. Well yesterday I found one at the local Co-op that was 6 1/2" long and a bit thicker than I would have liked but got it anyway. I managed to cut it down and split it down the middle (no easy task) to make it smaller for her little mouth. She loves it!!! She is chewing on it right this moment with her little butt up in the air...too cute! So thank you all for teaching me yet one more thing....now if I could only find a good brand food that she would eat without hesitation! |

My Mango is also a very fussy eater, I have tried all sorts of foods from Canidae, to Merricks, etc. I finally found one that is healthy and she will eat consistently - Evangers Pheasant and Brown Rice. It's a really tiny kibble, easy for those little jaws to munch on. Sometimes, I still have to coat the kibble though, in which case I buy small can's of Merrick's Grammy Pot Pie.(Just one little teaspoon combined with the dry.) The two combined work like a charm. Check out their websites here: http://www.evangersdogfood.com/dog/ http://www.merrickpetcare.com/store/canned_dog_food.php The Merrick page I posted shows their canned food. I swear it smells so yummy, I could eat it myself. Both of these manufacturers produce their food in the USA, and are of an excellent quality. Canidae is also another reputable brand, but the dry kibble is not as small as the Evangers: http://canidae.com/ Post pics of your baby - we just love to see them! Lauren

| Welcome to YT! Dont feel bad, I too recently learned what bully sticks are and I plan on going this weekend to stock up on em'... As well as change Meka's food, because she has been really picky lately. I can tell she doesnt like her food, and she will only eat it if I feed her a few kibbles and stand next to her while she eats the rest?!? Thanks (larenr) for the idea... I plan on getting the evangers dog food - and hopefully that will get Meka to eat more

| Cutting and stinking!! They do stink-- But I am like you, so grateful for the suggestion!! Tobey LOVES them. I tried to saw the first one with a big kitchen knife but gave up. He's never liked any other chew so much.... I was amazed...I have learned so much on here as well. I think it only has helped me be a more educated and better mommy to my priceless little man
