| 2 yorkies so different?? How can two yorkies who came from the same litter be so different? I am just amazed at this...I have 2 babies both boys and they are so different same mom and dad exact same litter AKC registered....One weighs 14 pds and one is only 4.5 pds. They do not look alike at all...their hair texture and color is different also. Has anyone else ever heard of this? |

| My Susanah has the exact same parents as my Annie-Belle did. (same parents, two different litters). They are complete OPPOSITES. Annie-Belle was barely 4 pounds, had a cottony coat that matted if you looked at it too hard, was very well behaved and the sweetest little thing you ever saw. Susanah is almost 7 months old now, already 6 pounds, has silky hair that is a little on the thin side, has a stubborn streak bigger than she is, lives to get into trouble. Annie-Belle was on the lighter side with a lot of silver. Susanah is a lot darker.

| Here are a couple pics of the two of them: 1.) Annie-Belle 2.) Annie-Belle 3.) Susanah Another difference is that Annie-Belle ALWAYS looked so neat, clean, and well-groomed. Susanah is a little tomboy and always looks a mess no matter what I do. lol

| They are both so cute....I just cant believe I have 2 out of the exact same litter and there is almost 10 pds difference in them....Actually my sister had Carson the 4.5 pd one and I had Braxton the 14 pounder....I just inherited Carson a couple weeks ago...I love them both dearly |

| we are going through this too but the pups are 12 weeks old, they look so totally different that Iactually was beginning to wonder if the breeder (who is great) had falsified the papers. |

| It would seem odd but I think it is just DNA. Like in a family with children from the same parents....sometimes one is big and husky...one is slight and small. Perhaps even fraternal twins. Odd things do happen in natural ways.....Like this true story: http://www.snopes.com/photos/people/mixedtwins.asp |

| Just genetics - throw backs to previous ancestors, similar to people or other animals. |
