| comming home to your yorkie my absolute favorite thing about my girl is that I can leave the house for 5 min and when I come back My little Bailey girl acts like I have been gone for 5 years! Its the same everytime I come home, she just freaks out, she prances hops and twirls at my feet the momment I walk in the door it is just an absolute joy! I can be in the worst mood in the world but comming home to her turns my entire mood around! I can only imagine what it would be like comming home to 9 little ones ( like the post of all those babies in the bath that a member posted earlyer).... Does everyone else get the same reaction when they get home? Is this characteristic of the breed?

| I think it's characteristic of most dogs- my 4 year old rot/spaniel mix does sprints up and down the hallway whenever I come home because she's so glad to see me and knows that if she jumps on me/attacks me too much she'll get in trouble! (I have scratches to illustrate what happens when she gets too excited lol) My 8 month old yorkie's the same way- even if I just run out to the car to get something she gets so excited! |

| Yorkie greetings All dogs will greet you, but I do think that Yorkies' greeting are the best! I travel a week a month, and when I come home, my babies cling, cling, cling. My little boy will lay on my chest and lick my chin the first night that I'm home, then he tries to lick my ears. My husband is with them when I'm gone, and they adore him, but the greeting after I have been gone a few days is really heart warming. When I pack my suitcase, my little boy will jump in or lay on top of the suitcase. He knows when I am leaving. |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Yes my 3 def. do that! Teddy will do it the most, he is the most hyper and will jump off and on the couch, on the bed and run back and forth and jump on me and on every visitor we have. He gets wayyyy too excited, its cute. Sophie is the 2nd hyper one. When i come home and pick her up she will lick, lick, lick. And London will wag her tail and shake her little head from side to side. LOL

| Zoey puts her ears back and starts kissing like mad. She goes for quantity not quality. She doesnt care if it was 5 min or 5 hrs. You get the same greeting!

| Yes, Max does the same thing. He has to race around jumping and used to just flop over so he could have a belly rub, then kiss us all over our faces...now he races around, jumping on us and runs over to the sofa, jumps up and we have to go over there to give him his belly rub and get our faces kissed or he won't stop! If he's super-excited, he jumps onto the arm of the sofa so he can get closer to your face to kiss you . There's nothing better than coming home to him. And he's not even a hyper Yorkie, LOL.

| Bella goes crazy when I get home too. What I don't get is how she knows it is me, she can't see me and she does not do this when anyone but me comes in the door but she knows it's me. Last night my husband got up and opened the door for me quick to see if she still knew it was me and sure enough her squeels of delight filled the house.
