Dear Members,

Ok, you might think I am going a bit overboard, but hear me out. I have been wanting to get Maxi some shoes. He is a 3 pounder, 98% indoor dog. Every time we take him out for a short walk, we have to bath him after we come back in b/c he won't stay still just to wash his feet.

Also I want to get him some nice clothes especially for winter season b/c he is very sensitive to cold temp.

Where can I buy some affordable clothes and shoes that will fit max (he is 8 inches tall from paw to shoulder and exactly 3 pounds)? Really, some of them online are very expensive and I can't afford that much. I would like to get him a few clothes including jackets and some shoes. Any suggestions guys??

PS. I noticed that many of you yorkie owners are as good looking as and as cute as your yorkies!!! Cheers!!!

I don't have any suggestions for places to get clothes, but I just want to put in my request for pics when you get his shoes and coats, etc...bet he looks even cuter.

I can say the cheapest online dog store i have found is www.barkindogclothes.com I"m not sure if she has sweaters or what not, but her things are very inexpensive! Good luck! And Maxi is sooo cute! I love those big ears!

Try ebay too, they have alot that is usually priced pretty good if you don't want to pay boutique prices.

. But actually I wanted to comment on your picture. Does he have really long eyelashes? Am I crazy, or did I look at that wrong. It looked beautiful. How'd you do that? Thats the cutest dog ever! ( besides mine

Hi Shanatink,
Maximus was actually born with long eye lashes. When I first brought him home, I noticed that he had really long eye lashes. I thought all yorkies have them to protect their eyes from long hairs going in. When I gave him a hair cut in March, I tried to be very careful not to cut his lashes, but the groomer cut "some". And guess what... They don't grow back like other parts. So his one eye has longer 1.75 inches eye lashes and the other side has shorter 1.25, still ... the same. didn't grow much. That's his pretty point and it was cut!!! I was so upset... But yeah. He does have long eye lashes. Natural.. no fake lashes attached, ha ha ha.

Thats awesome. What a great characteristic to have. I saw that picture and I thought 'OMG! I want those eyelashes form mysef' lol.

Target has very cute clothes. Also saw some tiny shoes at Petsmart yesterday. They are beginning to carry a petite line.

Shanatink, you made me laugh big time, ha ha ha. "I want those eye lashes for myself", That was so funny! LOL. I mean, for what does "Maximus" the Gladiator need such lavish eye lashes huh??!!
But. I know. I agree. I want them for myself too actually. LOL.

Max is adorable. I'm going to try to make some my self, but I don't have any patterns. Gwen is only 2lb 2oz, so I'll probably go to target and try to adjust the things to fit her and then make some patterns.
