| What size clothes and what kind of hair accessories What size clothes do all of your Yorkies wear? I've only gotten Lilly 2 things so far and it was at Wal-Mart, I bought her a dress and a tee shirt and I got them both in XXS and the dress is already too small for her and the shirt is beginning to get snug. I ask though because on the back it says the XXS is for Yorkies so I was just wondering about everyone else's little ones. Also, what type of hair accessories do you use in your Yorkies hair, barrettes or doggy elastic bows? I'm dying to put bows in her hair but she's so squirmy and I can't hold up a little tuft of hair long enough to wrap it around a few times so it'll stay, is there any other alternative?

| Jewels is 6 lbs and she is a small usually or sometimes a medium. It just depends on the sizing. I like bows with elastic bands the best but I know others on here like the barrettes

| You'll find the size Lilly needs will depend on the manufacturer. Lady is 7&3/4 pounds and wears a medium in Ruff Ruff Couture and Hip Doggie, needs a small in Oscar Newman and Target's Boots and Barkley, and a large in Lulupink! It's always best to try things on if you can or stick with a line you know fits really well. Just be patient about Lilly wearing a bow. Put her hair up in a little latex band everyday with no bow until she gets used to it. It helps to give her a chew or toy right after you do it to distract her. As far as bands or barrettes go, I make and sell bows and find that people are pretty equally divided. It really is what works best for you. |

| I started doing Pixie's topknot when she was sleepy and less wriggly, she's 18 weeks today, she has got used to it now. Baby hair accessories are good..i just bought some tiny little soft hairbands today..i have also bought puppy yorkie bows on ebay..they are a little smaller. I also found a lovely lady on ebay who handmakes dog clothes quite cheaply..i send her Pixie's measurements by email..she's making me a couple of winter fleeces now..if you can find someone who handmakes stuff its brilliant!

| Sizing varies from each designer/manufacturer so it is always best to measure your baby when ordering clothes. I know a lot of us here on YT can custom make clothes to fit measurements. Here is my website and I can do custom sizing if you would like: www.tinkerbellscloset.com As for hair clips I personally prefer the little butterfly style clips as they are very easy to stick in the hair and they work great on my yorkie and you dont have to bother with rubberbands. I have several styles on my website (the clips Im talking about are the ones that come in pairs): http://tinkerbellscloset.com/items/b...clips/list.htm

| it all depends on the brand... Bailey is 1.9 lbs and the xxsmalls at walmart or petco ect. are always HUGE on her, but when we get brands like little lilly the xxs fits perfect... It all just depends on the brand...

| Lacy wears anything from an XS to a Medium, depending on the brand. The all run differently. Always go by measurements (neck, chest, length) first. Weight helps but measurements are the best way. And never go by those "breed suggestions"...Walmart LuLu Pink has a yorkie and a shihtzu as wearing an XXS and Lacy couldn't fit in an XXS if her life depended on it! She's 7lbs. And Shihtzus are 9-13lbs so I highly doubt one of those would ever fit in an XXS either. So far as hair. I use tiny elastics first, like orthodontist bands. Then I'll put a bow in. I use bows with bow elastics and barrettes but I always put them in after her hair is already in a ponytail.
