| Please Help Me and my partner have a huge problem. My oldest dog which is a male and his behavior is getting worst. He barks when he cant get any food. He snaps at us when we try to correct him. I really dont know what to do. He is a great dog but he is getting aggressive. I just want him to stop snapping at us when we try to correct him. It is causing a strain on our relationship. I really could use some help to correct his behavior before its gets out of hand. |

| Sorry to hear about your problem. So often little dogs act aggressive when really they are worried or insecure. Your baby needs to know that you are the leader, and that he can trust you and your partner to take care of him. I know he usually has shows about bigger dogs, but Ceaser Milan, the dog whisperer, has shows about little guys too. he really has some good advise. You can go to his web site and see tapes of his shows, I bet he will be able to help you.

| If this is out of character for him, then I would suggest a visit to the vet for a complete blood workup and whatever the vet feels is necessary. Pets can become aggressive when they are not feeling well, when they are sick, when they are hurt, etc. Sometimes aggressiveness is the only symptoms. Good luck!! I'll pray for your yorkie!!

| I agree with the Dog Whisper. My Sammy was very agressive. I took him to dog school.... really for myself and learned how to be the leader of the pack. It worked when I worked!!!!!!! He knows now that I am the leader of the pack and he must obey me. I didn't know the rules of dog leadership, now I do and life is so much easier. A good trainer is worth their weight in gold.

| Have you tried taking him to any puppy or dog training classes? It might be beneficial to you both to get him some formal training.
