Did anyone see the thread where her "brother" supposedly had all these different gift certificates to TONS (and I do mean TONS) of different restaurants that she was trying to sell?? When I saw that mile-long list of all the different restaurants, I just about fell over. This girl ALWAYS had GOBS of stuff for sale - it makes you wonder where she got it all..

I know it does. Tho my dad works for Verizon and he has friends all over, they would give him baseball tickets to the world series for free and $400 gift cards for stores like Banana Republic, Gap, etc. so unless she knows someone that gives her these things or her brother then idk..

Oh I don't know either - but I tell you that list was a mile long!!!

I mean it wasn't just 10 or 20 different restaurants...but a TON of them. I didn't count...but I know when I saw the list my face looked something like this

I do want to point out that in dogster her city is the big friendly in SC. If you see her profile it says the big friendly, FL, so I'd check into that discrepancy. Although if you have phone numbers of her relatives you may pin down the city more accurately. Perhaps in speaking to her relatives they can persuade Joy to do the right thing and return the pup. God can move mountains.

I have a thought - it seems to me she dodged payment of money or items owed to so many people here. Perhaps by August, she was starting to feel cornered and desperate, so MAYBE she was the one that pretended to be her sister and sent out that email about her terrible accident. This way she knew for sure it would be posted on YorkieTalk, people would feel so sorry for her, they would not dream of demanding she pay up. Then when she got found out, she posted that thread regarding her "outrage" over the "lie" of her supposed accident. I do feel strongly that Joy was the one behind this, as a way of escaping her debts.
Just my two cents. I did look for the emails she sent me, but unfortunately I had deleted them.
Sorry to repeat myself, but I still feel like a total fool for being sucked in by this girl. I truly sympathize for you Panama69, you must be so desperate to get Melody back.

I didn't see the tread but hello I even had a member here (no longer a member not Joy) send me a Gift card.. for free just to send it and when I went to use it a week later there was nothing on it... I don't buy gift cards for this reason.

She's probably reading everything but I doubt she's enjoying herself. She should be scared to death. I think whoever mentioned kleptomania was dead on. She had way, WAY to many things for sale. Either way, I think it's safe to assume she's a huge pathetic con artist.
