| garlic in treats I have read that garlic and onions are bad for our furbabies... but I was reading one of the liver treats that I bought for my Dunks and it has garlic powder or some garlic of some sort in there. SO is that bad for him? I also wanted to bake some homemade liver treats for my Dunks, but most of the recipes call for garlic powder or garlic... So, are garlic really bad for them or what? I am confused!

| Garlic, in large amounts, can cause anemia. It would take a lot to do harm but some nutritionists prefer to avoid it and be on the really safe side. Garlic dog treats are not going to hurt. I only give it on occasion.
