| scooting after anal gland expressed-normal or not? I sent Siu Pao for a grooming after a year of doing it myself because I need the groomer to do his face and head which he wouldn't let me do it. The groomer expressed his anal glands and he has been scooting around after that for more than a day now. Is this usually the case? I am getting more and more worried.

| I have read that it can take a couple days for them to stop scooting. If it doesn't stop within three days they may need to be done again since not all groomers get all of the gunk out. If there is still a scooting problem and they are fully emptied after about 3 days, I would call a vet.

| I've never had it done, but I think it should stop after a few days.
