| BAth twice a week? Guys, I wash Rocky every Sunday, and he loves it, becomes a speed deamon right after that. But he had a small accident yesterday with his #2 and I had to give him a wash again. His hair is so nice for the first 3-4 days, but it gets dirty too fast, I guess from humidity more than anything, he is home most of the time anyway. Is it ok to wash him twice a week, I heard that his skin could become dry? how can I tell? |

| If his skin becomes dry he will itch and it will flake. My vet said not to bath more than once every two weeks. She said once a week is ok but he will get dry skin. I fight that with our lab and I hate it.

| Depends on the dog, i bath mine every week and if they get really dirty, sometimes twice. Their skin is not at all dry. |

| I think it does depend on the dog. Bella gets really dry skin and she starts to flake. I give her a bath about every 10 days.

| Every dog is different. I usually bath Autumn on Friday's but there have been times that she needs two-three baths a week. She loves to dig in the flowerbeds! |

| I usually bathe mine once a week. There's vitamins you can add to their food so they don't get dried out.

| I also usually bath Toby once a week...but there are times when he needs two a week. He doesn't have dry skin either. I also use a oil based Shampoo & Conditioner called Cain & Able along with a human leave-in conditioner which might help him not get dry skin.

| What is the solution?? I try to bathe Tobey once a week but i often miss a week. His skin looks dry all the time but doesn't flake. What is the solution for a yorkie with dry skin, but who's hair gets all dirty from playing outside, eating, and everything else? usually his hair starts to look a little greasy, not soft and fluffy anymore, but even when his hair looks a little greasy, when i examine his skin, it still looks dry....

| I give Roxy a bath once a week. I never talked to the vet about it. I know by the end of the week she looks like she needs one. Anyone else know about baths.
