| What can I do for the "gooey" eye stuff?? Right now I cant bath Shena because of a bandage on her foot that has to stay dry due to a lump she had removed. So her eyes are looking pretty bad. She has a lot of red and gooey stuff that I try to remove, but her little fur is pretty stained. Does anyone know of a good remedy for this??? |

| You can either use a washcloth or a guaze pad with warm water to wipe away the stains.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Maybe try baby wipes as they have a bit of "soap" on them, it might help...

| I use cotton pad with some warm water on it and wipe a few times on the eye goo and when its a little wet and is easier to remove without causing too much pain, I use a flea comb to comb it out and then dry it with a dry cotton pad.

| I do something similar to this. I usually do it right after a bath so that their fur is already wet.

| This is going to sound a little strange, but we use a little finger toothbrush and it works really well. Of course, I use a different one for his teeth.

| I use a small grooming comb(it's bigger on one side and small on the other), green and purple rubber handle by Lil Pals that's perfect for coming out eye boogies(and I use the slightly wider part for grooming). I don't have to bathe her nearly as often since I started using this.
