| Big Floppy Ears I have an AKC registered yorkie who is now 4 months old. Her ears have been floppy since I got her. I didn't realize they should have been standing. Her ears seem kind of big...is it possible they will never stand on their own? |

| Now that she is 4months old I'm not sure if they will stand at this point. Does she have alot of hair on the ears? Try cutting the hair 1/3 way down the ear. Be carefull not to cut the ear. Perhaps there is too much hair on the ears, weighing the ear down. There are many Yorkies on this site with floppy ears. They are adorable. |

| Can we see some pictures of your pretty girl. She's probably teething which is robbing the ears of the need calcium. If you keep them trimmed and possibly taped they should stand up. If not I'd love her the way she is, because it makes her unique.

| I had the same problem with Marcus Aurelius. I starting massaging his ears every night for about hour. Not only did he love it, it worked! He is 20 weeks old and his ears just stood up yesterday. I started to think that they would never stand up on their own. Your baby is 4 months,so there is still time. Good luck! God Bless, Shel |

| I know to some people ....it is very important that their furbabies ears stand up. I personally think Yorkies are cute whether their ears stand up or not. All Yorkies are cutie pies!!!! My Buddy's ears have stood straight up since the day we got him. He will be a year old this month. About two weeks ago his ears started to droop and have ever since. He is cute either way so I am not going t worry about it. See before & afters below!! (the first one he had just gotten a nice puppy cut and the second photo he needed to be groomed but at least you can see his ears) Best of luck with your furbabies ears!!! Post pictures when you can!!!!

| Massage his ears few times a day, it increases the blood flow, and trim te hair on his ears as well, this should help. |

| One of Bella's ears dropped when she was teething. I kept them trimmed and gave her a multi vitamin for pups with calcium. She was very cute. It lasted maybe 3-4 weeks. I love floppy ears too! |
