Glad that Dakota is eating and acting normal. Taking her to the vet to be checked was a good thing to do!! You may have to invest in carrier that is enclosed to keep her from jumping out.

I had one, but it didn't really help, bc she could just fit in this purse that I have, and that way i don't have to carry two bags. But I usually keep almost all of it zipped, and I only had part of it zipped, and for some reason she thought that she needed to jump out, which wasn't a good idea..

I hear ya on the two bag problem!

Do you have an inside zipper in your bag? You could rig up a leash attachment to the zipper pull. Wouldn't have to be horribly sturdy (although that would be better) but something to offer some tension to let her know she's "attached" and shouldn't jump.

The bags I have have a little strap to attach the leash to so they can't jump out.

Mine too. But I think she's using her purse as double-duty.

Once I saw a bag that had two completely separate sections. One for the pup, and one that accordianed out for all your purse items. It was so cool! But it was just too BIG. I'm always keeping my eye out. The one I use now is getting too small for Coby. I've purchased two new bigger ones that he won't have a thing to do with. Just keeps begging for his little one.
