| ![]() When do puppies slow down a little? LOL...my little boy is so hyper about 2-3 hours and then sleeps for an hour or so and then is hyper for another couple hours..I am exhausted! HA! I was just curious of when I will be able to cuddle with him for more than a minute at a time ![]() My husband and I are so happy with Riley...he is such a sweet boy. |

| ![]() Lacy was a hyper puppy. She started to calm down some around 7 months. She still has her crazy moments though

| ![]() You know what I think is a great solution? Buy another one- they take all their energy out on one another and then want to cuddle up and go to sleep in your lap! =) Do you play with him a lot? I usually let Roo play with her toys by herself (though I'll throw them for her some times etc) but when she's with me it's mostly cuddle time and she loves it- then again she's a girl so it might not be the same anyway! |

| ![]() Ha!! I hear ya!! I am just now starting to think there may be hope for MY energy level!! ![]() Coby is 7 1/2 months old and was neutered about a month ago. I don't know if it's one or the other or the combination of both, but he is STARTING to slow down a little (with emphasis on the STARTING part!). They are, and most will always be, a high energy dog. I also have a Shi Tzu, and they are low to medium energy dogs. There's a big difference between them. But I'd say around 6 to 7 months, you'll at least start to see a bit more down time. Hang in there until then!!
