| Angel Lewis~ I can only hope that if Milo ever found himself out in the world without me, that an angel like you would find him and take as much love and care with him as you did Maddie. Your life should always be filled with love and joy....... Dawn & Milo |

| Dear Lewis, I understand that it may feel strange having perfect strangers write to you about the wonderful thing you have done in returning Maddie to Denise. As someone already said, most of us have never met, but we all share a love for this wonderful breed of furbaby (I just have a hard time calling them a D-O-G) We all cried with Denise when Maddie was missing. And again when she was told Maddie was dead. We celebrated when she brought little Macy into her home to try to fill some pretty big shoes. It was just days ago that we again cried with her when she unselfishly gave Macy up because she didn't feel it would be fair to her to NOT love her as much as she loved Maddie. I have never EVER seen a topic on here go from 1 post to 12 pages in just 1 day. We all know how much Denise loved Maddie and we all understand how much YOU loved Paris. We all love you already so much for your totally unselfish gift of BELIEF to Denise and to all of us as well. I hope you will accept Justice into your life. She will never be Paris, but you know something? I don't think I have ever seen a Yorkie that I did not love. There is something about this breed that brings both women and men to open thier hearts like never before. You are Denise's angel and you are ours as well. God Bless you! Hugs Sonya

| Lewis, I never posted to the original "Maddie Is Missing" thread a few months ago because I couldn't stand the the thought of what might have happened to Maddie and I didn't what to say to make Denise feel better. I read it every day, though, and prayed that she would come home. When I found out what had supposedly happened, I was sick for days thinking about Denise living with that feeling. I have never met Denise and I have never met you, but I'm sure that like hundreds of others here, I was deeply affected by Maddie's disappearance. When I got up today and saw that she was still alive and had COME HOME, my heart and eyes filled up. Bless you and thank you from all of us for taking care of our little girl. I say "our" because even though Maddie is Denise's, her story took out a little piece of everyone's heart. What a wonderful man you must be. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Lewis ~ There are truly angels here on earth. What an incredible unselfish act to return Maddie/Paris to Denise. You return the faith in mankind. I believe God has a plan here...and while his plan didn't include for Maddie/Paris to stay with you...he does, indeed, have a furbaby for you....it's Justice...because without this turn of events...you wouldn't have been offered this generous gift. Take care and God bless ~ ~

| Lewis, I imagine you are overwhelmed by the out pouring of love and gratitude you are receiving on this site. We would not know eachother if we met on the street; but we may recognize the fur babies You have touched so many hearts with your honor and understanding. We have cried with eachother over the loss of this precious fur baby, and the pain it caused to a dear lady and her family; now because of you, we rejoice. If play it forward is one of Gods plans, you are in for a wonderful reward. I hope you take the offer of a new yorkie for you in the manner it is given. No one has to tell you about this wonderful breed, Paris showed you that herself; but know in your heart that maddie is loved and adored in the home she came from and is now returned to. Thank you for showing all of us just what a wonderful person may be in all of us.

| Lewis, You are an incredible person. I cried the day I found out Maddie was missing and then I cried even hardier when I found out she was dead. But I REALLY cried my hardest when I heard of you and how you saved Maddie, kept her safe and happy and then returned her to her mommy. You are truly a unique and wonderful person. GOD BLESS YOU!

| Dear Lewis, Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for you and your unselfish act of love. I was so elated at the news of Denise getting little Maddie back, but last night my heart ached for you, knowing you were without little Maddie (Paris). You have a heart of gold and this world would be a better place if there were more people like you! I met Denise through Yorkie Talk and we became good friends. I was with her (long distance) through all of the sadness regarding Maddie. Yesterday turned out to be such a joyous day...a day of celebration, and that happened because of you! You are a beautiful, giving man and deserve so much for the love you have shown Denise, her family, and all of us on YT. I do hope that you find it in your heart to accept another little yorkie. I know it would make all of us here feel better. Denise told me how you walked Maddie every day and that she slept with you. I'm sure Maddie misses you also and I'm so glad that you will still get to see her and have a wonderful family now in your life. Bless your heart! We love you, Lewis! Connie and my yorkies, Maddie and Libby

| My Dear Lewis, Forgive me if I repeat the thoughts of others. This has been an incredible journey that we have gone on with Denise and her family. It has been emotional, heartbreaking & a grief filled couple of months. I have never witnessed anyone who grieved so totally over a loss of a pet as Denise did. It was like she is tied to Maddie (Paris) at her very heart; in a way that only God could explain. We have all prayed for Maddie & Denise, I know that the family has been in my thoughts daily since this all started. I believe that God knows only truth & the only way to heal that broken heart was to bring them back together. I also believe that it was our prayers that protected Maddie by bringing her into your care. It had to be one of the hardest things that you have ever done to call Denise and tell her that you had her beloved Maddie after you had fallen in love with her. My prayers now are for you for your loving care and honesty in bringing that sweet girl home, for comfort for your broken heart & for gratitude for a beautiful end to this long journey. Peace & Hugs to you my friend. Jeanie
