| A couple of years ago I sold a pup to a lady with three daughters, Jr.Hi and highschool age. After having several phone conversations with her and trying to ease her fears of her "don't want a dog, especially a small dog" hubby, she decided she was going to get one anyway. We met them part way. Her hubby wouldn't even get out of the car. Two months later I phoned them to see how things were going. He hubby answered the phone and when I told him who I was, he talked for over a half an hour about how smart and wonderful HIS dog was! When he finally let me talk to his wife, the first thing I said was "I told you so!"

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | My hubby is one of the sweetest, kindest man you will ever meet and yes, naturally he is the same way to our yorkie babies (we have 2...so far). He loves how they both attack him with kisses like crazy dogs when he comes home from work. They do both seem to stick closer to me though when I get home. I think sometimes he gets a little jealous.

| Well, a SMART man owns a Yorkie. Especially a young, single guy (neither term describes me). When I have our two girls out among people, I wind up being surrounded by women. Can't help but think it would have been great to know about Yorkies 45 years ago ! I really can't imagine why a young guy would have a doberman or a lab (and I love both of those breeds) when they could have a Yorkie that guarantees they will have endless opportunities to meet lots of women - and have a really wonderful companion if none of those meetings go on to friendship. By the way, I talk with a lot of truck drivers (I work with a company that manufactures Auxiliary Power Units for trucks), and it seems that the majority of them travel with dogs. And most of them are SMALL dogs. |

| My boyfriend is like this with Jack too. When we first got him and were deciding which food to feed Jack, he insisted on tasting them all to make sure they tasted alright. How disgusting! He said he didn't mind because when he was in a fraternity they hazed them and made them eat dog food and worse things, but I still wouldn't kiss him after that for over a week! Oh and he chose Canidae because he said it tasted the best. haha |

| my husband was exactly the same too. when i went through to the breeders with my dad to see the puppys at 3wks i was really excited. i picked my little bella and mickey moo but had to wait until they were 8wks old to bring them home. well it was the longest 5wks of my life and as i had seen them i was already in love. my husband was fine with getting the puppies but said to me that they were,nt babies they were dogs and they wont be licking my face or jumping on the bed .well as you can guess he is smitten with them both, they both sleep on our bed, lick him about to death, and he calls bella his beautiful little darling and mickey daddys big boy lol. he is putty in their hands. says he loves coming home from work to them(doesnt say much for me ) although i kinda know what he means because they give you such a welcome. everyone should have furbabies. the world would be a happier place |
