Donating YT 14K Club Member | Could be that it's just not long enough to straighten out...or she could be a cotton coated pup/dog. Can you post pics?

| if they have a silk coat, does it always turn out straight then?? I think Abby has a silky coat, but she is very wavy.

| I was just wondering .. hoping the breeder didn't sell me a yorkiepoo.. I hope its just because she is so small. And also because she is going to turn silver as an adult ( maybe ). She hasn't had a bath yet.. she doesn't really need one.. so maybe after a bath she will look different ? I just hope she is pure. I seen the mom and dad.. both are pure yorkie's with papers. Can't see this lady doing that to me.. she would loose her business if she did something like that to someone.. besides.. I didn't see a poodle around anywhere. Just yorkies. Very nice place.. I think I'm just over reacting. Here are a couple of pictures.. don't think you can see the curls very well.

| Her markings aren't correct, and won't be into maturity most likely. Things will change quite a bit, but if I were to guess, you Yorkie is just going to have a wavy coat in some areas and a slight curl in others. Were you planning on showing in conformation? It doesn't sound like so since you aren't confident in the breeder selling you a purebred pup let alone something capable to go in the ring or be bred. I wouldn't worry about it personally. I think she's all Yorkie and she's cute as hell. Give her a treat from a YT member, will ya? (Oh, and silky coats do not always come in straight at maturity, no......god I wish.) |

| That's just awesome, sounds like she was just the Yorkie for you! (sshh....while I show Yorkies, I can't help but smile at some that are produced to have the darker/incorrect markings, they tend to look stunning.) Congrats on your pup and I sure hope you post up some new pics!! |

| wavy hair Two of my girls who will turn 2 in November have lots of hair mostly from her middle to the tail and it is wavy(unfortunately it hard to brush and gets knotted often) but their dad is small and pure bred from a known breeder in Miami. One of them has curly hair on top of her head also, they are black, silver and have beige legs. Very cute and I guess it is normal in some yorkies. Anyway I love them as much as my other babies. |
