oky i have been gone for awhile but this is THE BEST news to come back and see on YT after a long absence. There truly are good people out there huh?? and its a yorkie who brought them together!!

Just now seeing this and had to read three times to make sure I was reading what I was reading!!!!!

I was in tears when I first read and then followed the Maddie saga. The idea of a baby that someone loved so much being killed and so nonchalantly discarded made me sick with despair -- and angry for blood.

I put myself in your shoes, Denise, and the thought of my beloved boy being treated that way both devastated and enraged me. I felt so VERY badly for you.

I now find myself in tears all over again, but this time with the joy of knowing that Maddie has been reunited with her family. It hardly seems possible. What a truly great reason to be thankful this holiday. And so glad that Lewis has a baby of his own now to love. What a happy, happy story. HUGS to all!!!

Glad you were able to catch up on this thread, because it brought it back up to the top. It's a "THANKSGIVING" story if there ever was one, huh?

That is the best story I have ever heard! Anyone who thinks God doesn't talk to you through dreams needs to read it. I have chill bumps. My daughter's schnauzer escaped one time.... someone found it and took it to a groomer to have her shaved .... my mom got a schnauzer at the pound a month later and when she took it to have it groomed she was telling her the story... the groomer said I thought I recognized a dog a while ago... but the lady said I was mistaken.. ... well... it was our baby (luckily she had a distinctive mole on her back and luckily the lady was a well known hair dresser so the groomer knew where we could find her!) We had to threaten to sue to get her back! God works in mysterious ways!
