I just saw this thread and I am in awe of this and it all just warms my heart.

Denise pls. pm me ( no hurry ) when you can put that little doll down or maybe you can learn the art of holding her doing everything lol You must be in heaven. I would like Lewis's address when you get it.

There really are lots of nice people in this world and I am so glad Maddie got to spend time with one of the nicest.

More joyous news - so glad to hear that Lewis will take Justus. May he come to love her as much or even more, because he knows she's his!!

Truly justice is playing out here - Denise you have the right frame of mind about this stinker getting what's due him -- but a part of me would just love him to know that everyone knows he's a rat & Maddie is back where she belongs.

We do reap what we sow. He's going to be in deep.

The rest of us need to learn what a difference it can make to help someone else -- oh, this is yt - you all already know this

As far as ideas for what to get Lewis, I was thinking a grocery card/gift certificate. Because he fed Maddie for months, so lots feed him - we all have to eat & most groceries carry so much more than food. But now knowing that he will have Justus we need a gift card to a pet friendly store or we need to put together a care box for him & Justus -- she will need some fun toys and a really good cc hair brush, some shampoo, quality dog food, a bed, maybe some clothes at least some bows, etc --- just an idea

I just saw this - when I first started reading it I couldn't believe what I was reading... and now I can hardly catch my breath or stop crying. I haven't gotten through all the posts but I just had to tell you how HAPPY I am for you, your family and Maddie!

Make sure you kiss your kids/furkids each & every day!!!

OMG - as each hour passes, it just seems like there is more and more good news! GEEZ!!! I don't think I have been THIS happy in quite a while!!!

I am thrilled beyond words that Lewis has decided to accept Justis into his life - that is WONDERFUL!!!!! It just warms my heart to know that he will have a companion there with him to (hopefully) help heal his heart a little

He is such a wonderful, caring person. I am just sooo HAPPY!!!!

DENISE - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take pictures when you go to reunite Maddie with Lewis - and when you guys bring Justis to him! I would really love to see this man and have a face to go with the name

I just have to see what a TRUE angel really looks like!

I am grinning from ear to ear over EVERYTHING that has happened with this story lately....it is all just a WONDERFUL MIRACLE!!!

P.S. - You are such a great person Denise, for trying your hardest not to hate the kid that did all this. True, it was a HORRIBLY AWFUL thing that he did (and you are right - God will deal with him now!)....but I guess you really have to look at it this way.....if none of this would of happened, you would of never met a wonderful man named Lewis - and Lewis and little Justis would never have each other. And heck, you may not of even ever met baby Macy! And even though I know things didn't work out with her, I know you still cared for her ALOT

I guess everything happens for a reason as they say, but THE most important thing is that MADDIE IS BACK!!!! YEAH!!!!
