| ![]() I just got home little bit ago. I got Winstin out of his crate and his one eye was really yuckie. It had green stuff coming out of it. I took him and wiped it with some warm water. I just hope the little guy is ok. He is not scratching it or anything. I am sure that I am just paranoid.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() Hope he is okay! Sounds like a minor infection that you'll probably use ointment for - I've had to do that for Wylie and it's pretty easy to administer. ![]()

| ![]() Better safe than sorry. Green is not good. Good luck Winston at the vet. A little cream and you'll be as good as new. |

| ![]() Just one question though. I have a hard time wiping his eyes let alone putting meds on them. I am afraid of hurting him. Any ideas? If it is infection (which I think it is) should I wait on the last shot (that was going to be Friday) a few days, just to make sure he is healthy?

| ![]() Your vet should be able to show you the best way to administer the ointment and also let you know if you should hold off on his shot. I'd probably just get the shot over with if it was me but your vet will know best. |

| ![]() We are home. He has a mild case of pink eye. He is on ointment for days. he weighs an entire 3.7 pounds. I feel better now. I am also switching him to frontline becasue I do not think the advantage is working on fleas. ![]() He goes back Friday for last shot. I waited because we did not see our regular vet. I want her to see him.

| ![]() Tell him not to rub his eye, pink eye is very contagious! ![]() A day or two and he'll be good as new! I'm glad the baby's ok.

| ![]() Thanks again everyone. He is better already with just one dose of ointment. I think I jumped on it right away and that helped. He has not wiped his eye at all. They did not say anything about it being contagious. The vet a couple years ago told me that most things do not pass between humans and animals. However, I also know some worms do and there are thousands of different types of pink eye. So we will just be careful here.
