| Vitamins Cody is on the vitamins that help put oil back into his body. The vet put him on it.. it has omega 3 and all that.. He has been having diarrhea loose stool. I just got off the phone w/vet to see if the vitamins could be the cause for it. she said they've never heard of anyone having a problem w/the vitamins but its possible.. have any of you used these vitamins and your babies have diarrhea? |

| You should try decreasing the dosage, or spread it out through the day. |

| It's a gel cap he gets once daily. So instead of pouring the whole cap on food just do half of a capsule? |

| Or do two small meals and do half a capsule each time. It's really up to your discretion. Zippy had the same issue with meds, so my sister introduced a snack meal mid day with meds and his poops are fine now. |

| I'd try giving him half at each meal, and if that doesn't help just give him a half a capsule a day.

| Vitamins can cause all kinds of reactions and I would assume diarrhea is one of them. too much or too little is not good for us or animals.....can i ask why it's needed?

| Dogs need Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids for skin and coat but they can get those vitamins from certain food too. Sometimes the pill form can cause loose stools especially in puppies. |
