| How sad for you. I am so very sorry for your loss. And thank you for sharing so others can learn. There are just so many things that could happen that we don't even think of. That was not easy to put yourself out there to help another yorkie, and it is very much appreciated. Last edited by MaxwellHouse; 09-23-2007 at 10:46 AM. Reason: to add |

| My heart goes out to you. I know how it is to lose a puppy. I had a maltese puppy no longer than 1 week and I came home on the 5th day and found it dead in its crate. The vet said it died of kidney/liver complications. I cried for about 3 days until I got another dog, Boobah. With time your pain will subside, but you will always remember your puppy with fondness and happiness for the time you had him. My heart goes out to you

| What a sad terrible thing to have happened. Im so sorry for your loss. I have never bathed with my baby's but have put them in the tub for bath, Never feeling the tub as high as their legs. They can not swim for very long and as you know can drown very easy. I hope others read this thread and know that you cant take your eyes off of them for one minute while in water. How sad. RIP sweet baby. |

| I am sorry that you had to go through all of this. It is so sad. I believe that this is something that can happen to anyone. But hopefully your story will make us all watch our dogs a little closer. |

| How awful! I am so sorry!! I never bathe with my guys nor do I let them ever take a bath in any type of tub where there is standing water in it. They do get in the shower with me occasionaly or when they get their baths in the sink it is strictly, spray water on them, wash, rinse water off, dry. They are never left standing in any type of water they could possibly swim in. And I never leave them alone during bathtime. We all make mistakes, don't beat yourself up over it. Just consider it a lesson learned. I'll say a prayer for your baby tonight. <3
