| Hey candy4me Hi, how is your new little baby? Eating and drinking well? Active enough yet sleeping well? Just wondering. My first Yorkie was to be 8 weeks old when I bought him. Drove out of state to get him. Breeder said "I'll help you out and meet you part of the way". Red flags were up EVERYWHERE, I drove right through them. To make a long story short, he couldn't have been anywhere near 8 weeks, didn't even have his teeth yet! My heart just couldn't turn away from him, I felt she didn't give a darn about him...I had to take him home. He had dander and fleas, but was the smartest teeny little pup in the World!!! I wish you the best with your little guy! Make sure he gets checked by the vet and is developing and healthy!!! Here is a picture of my little guy within the first week of bringing him home..... |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | He's just precious.... and it's a good thing you DID take him - someone not so yorkie educated might have got him - if she was letting him go that young - why not you ? He's really cute - I hope she has good luck with that baby too... |

| I posted another thread wondering about her lil' one too -- asking for pics now that she has her baby at home. You know that sometimes breeder pics aren't all that great and I'm sure she has some better ones to share by now!

| Julz, did your vet give you an estimated age for your baby? I brought Autumn Rose home at 10 weeks and she didn't have her teeth. I think part of the reason was because the breeder fed her soft food and there was nothing to help break the skin over her teeth. My vet agreed she about 10 weeks and said that smaller dogs develope slower and that was why Autumn's teeth hadn't broken thru. I have a puppy who will was 7 weeks yesterday and she has all her teeth. I do feed her soft food but not every day, I did at first but I wanted her teeth to be out of her gums before she goes to live with her daddy. I'm just saying that your puppy might have been as old as you were told. |

| Has anyone heard from Candy4Me? She was here posting away for about 3 days and all of sudden has barely posted since yesterday. I hope nothing is wrong with her lil' baby. Lisa
