Okay I totally managed to screw up my post above so I will repost. Remy weighted about the same at that age ,she is now nine months old and weights 5lbs. She seemed to do most of her growing early on. Eileen

Uma weighed 3.8 pounds at 16 weeks. She is now 12 months old and weighs 4.4 pounds. I would love to have her at 5 pounds, and she may yet reach it if she fills out a bit more.

Kiki weighted 3.5 lbs at 16 weeks and now at 10 months she is 5.5 lbs. I think she is the perfect weight right now.

Wow I can see that every Yorkie have their own growth rate... it all depends on her own genetics...
Anyway, I love her to death!
Thanks for all the reply... She is 17 weeks and still 3.2 pounds! Will see...

my Bruin weighed about 4lbs after 1 year then all of a sudden he took a 1.5 lb growth spurt. He is still 5.5 lbs but still looks cute

i use buddy wash and conditioner on my dogs its at petco its by cloud star and its natural stuff in it. its smells so good and the smell stays on them for a while! Also if you comb them while the conditioner is in then it helps with the mats in their hair and then rinse it out.

as for weight i will reply to this tomorrow when kiele (11wks) goes to the vet.
but last time at about 8weeks she was 2lbs and people on here say thats big. I mean but all dogs differ you cant go off of one dog. Skoshi weighed about 1.9 or a little less at 8weeks and hes now 7pds at almost 10 month. some peoples on here weighed 2lbs at 8weeks and stayed small and some got big.

Yes I guess it all depends on the dog.... it's exciting to see them grow and get better at doing things....

My Dylan weighed 2.5 lbs at 4 months. He now weighs 6.75 lbs. at 20 mths old. I guess he was a late bloomer.

I bathe Roo once or twice a week and she usually does okay with that. I bought yorkies for dummies when we first got Roo and it says in there that it's okay to bathe her 2 times a week and i haven't noticed that she has dry skin but now out of laziness i've taken to more like once a week but her face gets really stinky!
