Ok we were in Petco tonight. (of course buying things for tucker) lol. well, while my mom was paying i took tucker out side to see if he had to go potty. all of the sudden i see a maltese run right out the door. (NO LEASH!!!

) then this man comes running out behind him. he keeps saying "hey over here, dog come here!!" well then he picks her up and says Stupid Dog!!! Right in her face too. if i had been the dog i would have bitten him right on the nose

. So of course I was thinking, " no not stupid dog stupid owner" then my mom came out and she agreed. sorry if this sounds harsh but SOME PEOPLE!!!!

I totally agree with you...i sometimes wonder why some people get dogs.

Nope... "Stupid Owner" doesnt sound harsh to me! Its a lot better than I wouldve said!

That is sooo stupid and irresponsible. It's those kinds of people that would sue petco if anything had happened to that dog, as a result of his own stupidity.

He needs to go play the lottery. Because he is one lucky dude. How lucky he was that a car didn't come along and kill his little baby.

That whole situation just makes me very very sad! And that is a lot nicer than what I would have said to him at that moment!

Now that i think about it i really should have said something. i could've been nice i could've said that dog really should be on a leash you're lucky she didn't get hurt. i'm just sooooo shy... (note to self: work on that!)

UNBELIEVABLE!

Just as Kimberly stated so well this morning . . . people must be responsible to own a toy breed dog. I think responsible breeders are a valuable entity -- at least they interview the potential owner and can decide whether the person is reasonably responsible before handing over one of their pups to them. Some people don't deserve to own an animal -- especially a toy breed dog!

Poor baby! That is really sad. The guy was the "stupid" one! The dog didn't know any better! He's lucky the dog didn't get hurt.

I think it was a smart dog running from a stupid guy....

Poor little baby - it must have REALLY wanted to get away from him - I know when my girls are out... they won't leave my side ....makes you wonder why the malt ran...

if they could only talk - I wonder what they'd say about some of the humans in their lives ?

Yes i thought about that too. because then there were two ladies walking out with a little chiuaua (so cute) and it was like he was trying to follow them to their car. then they noticed she was there and turned around. then she took off.

And one more thing about that man's ignorance from me... i wasn't holding tucker's leash very tight (he's not that strong even if he likes to think he is) well tucker wanted to go play with the other doggie he didn't get the leash out of my hand but he almost did. that man could have put my dogs life in danger grrrrrr!
