| Diesel got stung! I swear I really wonder about vets. I called the ER vet to see how much Benadryl to give Diesel after he got stung. They procede to tell me and then in the same breath refuse to give me the conversion because the doc on call says I need to bring him in!! I told them that nothing was swollen and he wasn't limping. I know it got him because of how he screamed. I live 40 min away and by the time I would have gotten down there he would have already shown signs of having an allergic reaction. Isn't the whole purpose of benadryl to help (as quickly as possible) prevent a reaction??? Go figure!!! It all comes down to money. So I called the local pharmacist and asked him to tell me how many ML it would be. He told me and Diesel is just fine. I know this isn't always the case but there is always going to be someone out there wanting money. I just don't understand it. He seems to be ok but he is really upset. He is stuck up my tail and the more I make over him the more he plays the unjured part. I saw him playing ball with Shep and then when I started to babytalk him and love on him he acted as if he was just dying! He also started licking me and just let me cuddle with him. He knew what he was doing. Just like a man,(no offense) they know how to milk it. That's ok.. I don't mind loving on him.

| Thanks. This morning he is just fine. He acts as if nothing ever happened. Poor thing. He stepped over the nest when one got him. My husband and I didn't even see them. Then I pick Diesel up and take him back to the house. Meanwhile my husband is poking around looking for a snake. By this time the bees are after me and and I am screaming and running. I put Diesel down because they aren't after him anymore. lol Between me and my husband we got 10 or so bees off of us. He got stung 5 times and by some miracle I didn't get stung at all. We get in the house and bees are still stuck on our clothes. I think by the end of the night we had killed5 bees IN the house. Man what a night. lol
