| Hubby thinks over reacting to China recall I want to get rid of all toys made in China . Hubby states that just because they say made in USA does not mean the matrials did not come from China. He has been going through the house and you will not believe all the things made in China that we have.... dog beds, our comforter set from JCPenneys, clothing, dishes....what do we do???? I can see hubby's point that we don't even know if the materials came from China. Do you think we are over reacting about all of the toys?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I was going to start a thread about this before I saw this one. I went thru the girls toy boxes and out of 50 toys 1 was not made in China. I took them all away and went to Petsmart and found 2 toys out of the whole store that weren't made in China. The one was a stuffed owl by the AKC and it said made in USA when I got it home and looked at the tags it said made in China so it is going back. I also checked their bowls all made in China so I bought a stainlesss steel one. This is crazy. I feel so bad taking all their toys but I don't need sick babies.

| Just a suggestion, but has anyone tried the lead checing test kits? My mom got these for my sister to check all of her daughters toys for lead. I guess they work pretty well. Just a thought for all of the concerned moms out there. (Dads too!)

| I would rather be safe then sorry, look how long it took before we found out about the dog food and how many sick dogs there were, theres not much you can do after the fact. now I am concern about the clothes they wear that are made in china. the dyes and all the chemicals in them. |

| I think she got it at Home Depot, maybe Lowes or any of the home stores should have it.
