I don't agree with the craig list person. Once you enter a contract and give a breeder your word you should follow through.. on the other hand I don't agree that anyone should purposefully be harrased because you don't agree with them. Why even take the time out to throw negativity someone's way just because you don't agree. Thas just wrong. Making fun of someone that cant afford 1500 bucks is wrong as well. I know i cant and couldn't afford it either, and was honest in saying so and got what i was looking for at a price i could afford. You never know what opportunities may come you way when you state in all honesty your position... |
well that's interesting. :p |
This is not a hate post. Just want to say that I disagree with you. #1 The AKC papers are supposed to validate the fact that your puppy is a purebred & the pedigree will also help you determine if there have been genetic issues in the parents or grandparents, approximate size, etc. #2 There are lots of things that we consider "ours" that we cannot do anything we want with for the good of society. There are laws that govern what you can do with your home, automobile and even your children. People left to their own decisions about breeding have filled up the shelters to the degree that many healthy animals are euthanized every day. #3 As it is your right to look elsewhere for your pup, it is also the breeders' rights to try to insure that their puppies will not end up as breeding stock for a puppy mill or byb. I am very thankful that there are laws in the US keeping people from doing "whatever they want to do". Those laws protect us (& our pets to some degree). #4 I'm sure there are breeders who are in it strictly for the money. I don't think they should be allowed to breed theirs either. I don't think Yorkies should be strictly for the "rich" but they are very high maintenance and I wouldn't want someone to have one that had to choose between getting their pet proper medical care & their household expenses. Hope we can disagree pleasantly:) Quote:

I guess we just agree to disagree, and still be friends. :o |
doortego i think we can politey agree to disagree:) i know that people dont always see things the same way..hheck my husband and me hardley ever agree on anything:D MsWings i dont think that post about the $1500.00 was towards you, someone earlier posted basically said that if you cant afford $1500.00 for a yorkie look for another breed... i just think thats a little snobby im sure she didnt mean it that way but thats how it appears in the post |

You really have nothing better to do than sit around and criticize other people. Yes I may not know a whole lot about AKC certification or the whole process. The puppy was a gift, and I apologize that he didn't come with the idiots guide to AKC certification (so if any of you would like to hand yours over, I would appreciate it). I don't want to be rude, but this post reminds me of high school. I would like to thank the person who called Judy and it is nice to know that I can fully certify my baby. I was not there when he was purchased up so I do not know what all was said. As for those who said that i don't want to spend the money to get another puppy, that is also untrue. I have more than enough money to purchase as many yorkies as I want. Money is not the object here. I want to breed my puppy because he has a great personality and I would like to have another yorkie with a similar personality. If it comes down to it I will opt for working with my vet on breeding techniques and purchasing another female to breed him with. I was hoping to get a little bit of help from someone who has a female and has experience with breeding. Obviously though you are all to stuck up to help out someone who does not have experience. I hope this helps put all your childish gossip to rest. Grow up! |
p.s. sorry that moose is so much cuter than your puppies that you have to criticize me. |
