| hides bones then forgets where he hid it lol So one of my yorkies...Bubba...has this thing where whenever I give him a bone or something he thoroughly enjoys...he will take it, work hard at hiding it, and then whine because, yes, he forgot where he hid the bone. I went up to bed last night after losing a fight trying to get the bone out of his mouth...I figured he could take it up, chew on it and then everything would be fine. Yah...not so much The little stinker woke me up every so often because he would hide it, and not remember where he put it. I took it and stuck it on top of my dresser so he would forget about it and just go to sleep (around 3am lol) and he sat there and whined because he wanted it. Since I am a sucker for my puppies, I eventually gave in and gave it back. Again, I fall asleep and he wakes me up whining. Because...yet again...he hid it and couldn't find it. Did I mention his method of hiding the bone was he would "dig" my bedsheets and nudge it underneath some wrinkle somewhere? He does this all the time and it CRACKS ME UP. He will hide it in the cracks of couch cushions or nuzzle it underneath one of the dog beds or a toy and then comes to you crying because he "lost" his toy. We'd go get it, give it to him and he'd do it again! LOL my little boy cracks me up sometimes ooooh the things he does to keep himself entertained

| Zoey tries to bury everything too. When I sleep on the couch, she lays up on the back chewing her bone, then drops it on me, growls until I wake up and hand it back, then drops it on me again and again. If you take it away, she just barks. I dont want to play at 5 AM!!!! They are so funny sometimes and we are suckers for their games!!!!

| OMG Abby does the exact same thing!! She always burys her bones in the couch cushions, under rugs, wrinkles in the bed sheets, you name it... except she ALWAYS remembers where she puts them. its so funny b/c whenever we get ready to go to bed she always runs in and buries her bone in the bed, then falls asleep with it. and if she buries a bone and you put it away, she searches like a mad woman until she finds where I put it (usually in her basket lol)

| Are you sure it's really forgetfulness and maybe not just a game of hide and seek??? haha, either way it's cute. My Vinnie like to stand on the edge of the couch or the bed just to drop things off and to see me go fetch. haha, i love him, he truly like to play with me.

| Truly a yorkie thing I suppose? Siu Pao loves to throw his bones or somehow hide them under things like the couch/stove and then 'say' he is not able to retrieve them eventhough he sometimes can and Mommy has to go get it for him. He will whine until you retrieve it for him.

| Yorkie house rule here...whats on the floor belongs to Chelsea! I have to warn houseguests, to close the bedroom doors, or what she finds is her, no question asked. Last year, our daughter's fiancé visited. Chelsea ADORES him! She continued trying to take on of his socks. Later we missed a small Christmas pillow that was in the family room. When he packed, he found the pillow in his suitcase and one of his socks outside in the yard. Guess she thought it was ok to finally get the sock, as long as she replaced it with something, the pillow. Her middle name is KLEPTO!
