| Yorkie Puppy Ears When do puppies ears start to stand up on their own? My sister said they can go up to 3 months, up and down before they are totally up. I don't want to tape them because they play too much and I am afraid they will eat the tape off each other. Our dog had pups about 13 weeks ago. The girl puppy's ears is one up and one down. She looks funny, but cute. The boy pup's ears were both up but now both down and sometimes one up and one down. When can I expect them to both be up and stay up? Thanks in advance! |

| They usually go up anywhere between 6 weeks and 4 months, and then can go up and down with teething (usually around 4 months). I would just shape the top 1/3-1/2 of the ears. That will help them stand up. You can also massage the ears to help them stand up.
