| ![]() Ok, yesterday charlie threw up 3 times then last night while i was sleeping he had diarrhea three seperate times in the house last night (of course on the white carpet). And he always wakes me up. I haven't changed his food or anything and i don't think he got into anything. Could it be a virus. I am taking him in later today, but i just wanted to see if anyone knew what it could be.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() It could be anything and it could be nothing - you're doing exactly what you should be doing - taking him in if he's still having problems - GOOD LUCK ! Sometimes they get really sick and we don't know why - and other times it's for a real reason - hopefully ...it's just an upset tummy and will go away by itself.....poor baby !~ |

| ![]() I agree with what Villette said. It could be something, it could be nothing. If he doesn't get any better I would take him to the vet. I hope he gets well soon!

| ![]() Paisley did that last week. Threw up a few times and had diarrhea. Her last bout of diarrhea ended up on the carpet of my van! UGH!!! I think with her it was some sort of virus because she got better by Friday. I hope your lil one is ok. |

| ![]() I called the vet, and they told me to take away his food for 24 hours and give him liquid immodium AD. Then feed him boiled rice and hamburger. Well it worked and he got better just in time for his birthday! He got a greenie and loved it!!

| ![]() Many times we do not know the cause and many times there is none really. Dogs don't get viruses the same way as we do but then we don't vomit and get diarrhea without a reason. These brats just need to keep us on our toes.. Glad he got all better. I am afraid they really will get something contageous in the vets' office. |

| ![]() When Chachi had diahrea the vet said to give 3 ccs of keopectate so I think it would be the same with the Immodium.

| ![]() I gave him I 1/4 tsp. The vet said You take the smallest weight on the directions (about 40/50 lbs) divided that measurement down to 10 lbs. So it said 1tsp so i divided it by four. To get it down to the correct amount.
