| Is this normal? I need to board Siu Pao for a month in December and I have found a sitter online. I am very pleased with all the information that she has been providing me with so far. The only thing is she needs me to put down a deposit to hold a spot for my yorkie and its actually half of the total amount of the puppy-sitting and she'd write me a receipt. Like I have no problem paying her half the amount when I bring Siu Pao there but to pay her half of the amount in October, 2 months before the actual puppy-sitting? I am just worried what if she backs away or something. Is this a normal practice for those who puppy sit? I am not sure what to do.

| I know when I had a cat sitter come recently, they just had me pay the full amount the week before. I was going to use them a second time but my trip was cancelled...and I was just going to leave a check out for them. 2 months does seem pretty far in advance to pay...
