| Canidae vs Innova ?? Diesel has been really picky about eating lately. So I decided to try Canidae. I brought it home and mixed it with his Innova. I gave him the bowl and he starts to eat it like he hadn't eaten in weeks. I start to put away groceries and turn around and he was picking out the Innova and spitting it out!!!! I was in shock. It seems like the Innova bites were much harder to crunch. The Canidae was very easy for him to crunch up. I don't know if he likes it because it is new, easier to crunch up, or because of the taste. I guess time will tell!

| They are both good foods so I say go with what works best with your dog. If he'll eat the Canidae but not the Innova, I'd let him eat it.

| Mine seemed to like the Canidae better than the Innova too. The Innova pieces were bigger.

| The store I get the Innova from recently started to sell little bites Innova.. Plus up until now I didn't even have the choice between the 2 foods. They just started to sell Canidae. I have heard such great things about them both so I figured either one would be good. He is only 4.5 so I just want him to eat. This little boy will be the death of me yet. LOL I worry about him just like I did my daughter when she was little.

| Winstin was sent home on Innova. I have to say that he was a little thin and would not eat it. Unless I held it in my hand and he would eat a couple bites. I talked to vet about it and she told me her opinion so I agreed to change it. So I switched him to the dog food I have been using for eight years (only its for small breed) and he loves it and gained a pound in three weeks. No more thin belly on my boy.

Just curious what do you feed him now? Also is anyone worried about the high protein content in the EVO? I have heard that unless they have a liver problem that it won't hurt them. The guy at the supply store has a Pampillon. He says that he does great on it..

| I don't feed dog food but would say go for Innova, as long as your dog has no current liver problems high protein is IMO best. |
