| Hi I am new to the forum! ![]() I want to know if anyone has/had a yorkie that got ringworm...twice. My yorkie got it in April..long story but her original vet misdiagnosed it ..twice. Anyway, she was treated by a dermatologist with sporanox, lymsulphur dip and medicated shampoo. Finally cleared up, clean bill of health early August. Guess what...she got it again!!!! I am beside myself. Thankfully I detected it early, last time was a nightmare. Does anyone out there know if this is a recurring issue with yorkies? What about prevention? I hate seeing her suffer with the itching. And it breaks my heart that I can't hold her, keep her close, etc. like before. Any suggestions and past experience 'knowledge' of this would be greatly appreciated. |
