1 month and possible 3 months to get better Ok that means no sleep. Last night I did not sleep at all when she coughed I would just snuggle her and wait for it to stop. I feel like I did something wrong because she got it.

isn't it just the WORST feeling... it woudl just take over Layla's little body and it would break my heart because i coudln't stop it.. i wonder why it is worst at night.. .must be like humans... colds are always bad at night time. Keep snuggling her up!! and watch for signs of it in your other dogs... it is highly contageous.

I am new to the forum!
I want to know if anyone has/had a yorkie that got ringworm...twice.
My yorkie got it in April..long story but her original vet misdiagnosed it ..twice.
Anyway, she was treated by a dermatologist with sporanox, lymsulphur dip and medicated shampoo. Finally cleared up, clean bill of health early August. Guess what...she got it again!!!! I am beside myself. Thankfully I detected it early, last time was a nightmare. Does anyone out there know if this is a recurring issue with yorkies? What about prevention? I hate seeing her suffer with the itching. And it breaks my heart that I can't hold her, keep her close, etc. like before. Any suggestions and past experience 'knowledge' of this would be greatly appreciated.
