| 6 Months is the magic number Tinkerbell is sneaking up on 6 months old now. It's amazing how times flies. I was just thinking that this last week has been the best week ever with her. There has not been one potty accident (woohoo!!). She is calming down. There is no more bratty (or should I say diva) attitude. I have read quite a few posts about the horrible potty training issues, crying in the crate at night, biting at everything. I just wanted to tell all of the people that have new puppies, that it does get better, hang in there. Tinkerbell and I are sooo attached to eachother now and we did have a bit of a rocky beginning. |

| Yeah for you and Tinkerbell! You must be so excited. It's like a huge milestone for some reason. I'm looking forward to Linus's 6 month birthday because for some reason I feel like all his problems will magically resolve themselves that day. And happy half-birthday to Tinkerbell!

| I got Romeo at just a tad over 4 months...he will be 6 months day after tomorrow. I agree...has had made wonderful progress in the last month. Just a FEW accidents here and there, usually my fault too, no chewing on anything, he's becoming a little gentleman! Be patient everyone! My first yorkie and I'm so proud! You go Tinkerbell!!!!!!!!!!

| I am so glad to hear this! It came at the exact moment I needed to hear it. I had just finished typing a post about how my little guy is out of control these days (over on the training section). I love him so much, but man is he wearing me out! I am in training classes and have been so consistant, and your post just gave me the *hope* I need that it will all pay off. And, Tinkerbell Happy 6 month Birthday!! |

| I think 6 months is the magic number! It's like getting past the "Terrible 2's"! Rocky will be 6 months on the 28th and it's like the Good Puppy Fairy has paid a visit! I wish the Good "Go Pee-Pee Outside" Fairy would visit! Congrats on how great Miss Tink is doing! |

| When we first brought Maggie home, I was told with hard work, she should be a well behaved lady at six months. That seemed like an eternity. Sleep was something I would wish for. Potty was only to be flushed, not picked up. Toys scattered through the house, was something that happened to me 40 years ago. Excessive crying was a toss up between myself or Maggie. Now she is potty trained, sleeps all night and no longer cries. The toys are still scattered, hidden or buried somewhere in the house. She is 4 months old and I can already see the progress we have made. I can only imagine what it will be like in two more months. Hopefully the diva attitute will have cooled and she will have something in her mouth other than rattlesnake fangs. Happy Six Month B-Day.

| Thanks soooooo much for giving me some hope!!!!!! We've had Trixie since she was 12 weeks old, we've taken her to puppy training classes, read up on potty training and still can't get her potty trained. She goes outside to potty but but once she comes back in again she potties in the house!!!! My husband tells me if we can't potty train her soon we may have to consider getting rid of her. I had him read your story and it gave him hope also. Trixie is 5 months old now and we are keeping our fingers crossed!!!!! |
