Our little sand bags sleep with us and I would nt have it any other way, they have even got to sleep on my hubbys side of the bed lately which is nice ,they wait till he goes to sleep though is funny

Gracie, our Yorkie and Sampson, our Maltese both sleep in bed with us. Once and a while Gracie will hop off the bed to sleep on the floor for a while, but ends up back with us. We love having them in our bed!

Tilly and Sami both sleep with us they have their own pillows right above our heads, although they do move themselves all over. when I first brought Tilly home I bought her a pillow and put her above my head, I just pat the pillow & say up! and up she goes. That has been for ten years now. When I brought Sami home I didn't treat him any different even though he was not potty trained when I got up to go to the bathroom Sami was taken to the backyard, then we both went to sleep to this day he has never had an accident on our bed. I think I read it somewhere that yorkies are similar to cats when it comes to sleeping they wont poo & pee where they sleep? But I have heard od dogs having accidents in bed.

Sami has this little child chair at the end of our bed so he can get up & down

I bring Chewy's crate into our room and he sleeps right next to our bed. The one time I let him lay with me in the bed, I fell alseep and was forced out of my deep slumber by Chewy biting me on the nose at 5 o'clock in the morning wnting to play.

But we have this huge jacuzzi in my bathroom.....my yorkie is 6 weeks old. AND HE lives/ sleeps in it!

It works perfect! I shut the water pumps off (for safety) and made a super comfy bed at one end, a toy area, feeding area, and at the other end of the tub - I laid poo-poo pads. He sleeps and plays....and then walks over to potty area to do his poo-poo business!

Because the jacuzzi has smooth, high walls, he can't crawl out, and my kids and I love leaning over and watching him from the sides.

OK, obviously this will only work for about a month. So I bought a puppy bed and travel crate too. When he's big enough tho.....he's gonna sleep with me in bed

Gizmo, sleeps everywhere. He spends the night roaming the house, going from room to room, bed to bed. Zoey sleeps where ever I am in my bed or on the couch. I would like to say I like it, but she scratches my face

, steps on my boobs

, won't be still

. It annoying, and I never feel totally rested. But I still let her.

Forgot to mention....I love this cause he can't get to anything this way (paper on floor, children's toys, electrical cords, etc) I'm trying to be extra careful about the area he is in cause everything goes into his mouth! And, I forgot to mention the place he sleeps 99.9% of the time - cuddled up on my chest!

any one here have a twin size bed and still let ur baby sleep with u?
im too scared too. im going to be gettin a bigger bed soon but in the mean time i dont think i can have him sleep with me.

This is actually a great idea!! And if he makes a mess you can just rinse it out!! Brilliant!

Sully sleeps with us....but only since he is now fully housetrained. We love having him sleep with us!

However, we did once BEFORE he was housebroken, and um,.,, he peed all over our bed and it soaked our comforter, sheets, mattress pad and mattress. While we were visiting my grandmother over Christmas.

Not cool. (haha)

Keeley has a little room (storage room with linolium floors) that has his bed, potty pad, food, water and toys. He usually sleeps in there, except every once in awhile we will bring him into bed with us and around 2am-5am I'll take him into his room so he when he gets up to go to the bathroom it will be on his pad instead of our bed. I can't wait until he is trained well enough that he can chose to sleep with us if he'd like to.

I would like Olivia to sleep with us, but I'm afraid the little dare devil will jump off in the middle of the night. The cat tends to taunt her when she's on the bed. She ends up laying right on the edge and either staring at him (willing him over to play) or barking to get down so she can get him.

I figure she'll be ready to sleep in the bed when it starts to get colder at night, which will be perfect!
